Over the past 7 years, Azora Children Educational Welfare Trust believes in providing all the resources to the needy to support & empower them to create their own fate. Raise India Foundation, among one of the most active NGO in India, works intensively through focused welfare projects in areas like education for poor children, healthcare for marginalized and vulnerable communities, community engagement through women empowerment, disaster management, skills training and livelihood for youth and save the environment.
In this emergency situation Azora Children Educational Welfare Trust helped those people who are daily wagers and don’t have any work to do for next 21 days. Azora Children Educational Welfare Trust distributed Dry Ration Kit to their Shikshalaya’s children families. These Shikshalaya families are either E-Rickshaw driver or labor people or rickshaw puller or house maid. This dry ration kit contains 5 KG Atta, 5 kg Rice 1 Kg Dal 2 Kg Potatoes 2 Kg Onions. We tried to support these families while looking 21 days lockdown.
On the auspicious occasion of Ram Navami Azora Children Educational Welfare Trust started a campaign KHANA KHILAO PUNYA KAMAO for Daily Wagers. In this campaign we began with distributing two meals(Lunch & Dinner) a day in entire lockdown. We started this campaign with a aim of feeding 500 people a day but sooner we able to feed more than thousands needy people. Everyday we first sanitized the entire kitchen. Everyday we prepare different items like poori subzi, dal chawal, rajma chawal, poori kheer halwa, roti mix veg, chhole bhature and so on. We believe no one can eat same item on daily basis. We team distributes these packed items to different areas.
